Beth was born April 18, 1949 to Henry Seismann and Pauline (Stemmler) Seismann in Oceanside, NY. Spending part of her childhood in Florida, Beth returned to Long Island as a teen and continued her high school and early college career there. She went on to work for the local county as an administrative assistant.
Later marrying and becoming mother to Sara Jean in 1979 and Amy Lynn in 1980, Beth left the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom.
As the children grew, Beth re-entered the workforce as an administrative assistant at Stony Brook University on Long Island. After retiring from this position when her daughters were adults, Beth went on a true adventure in her move all the way “across the pond” to Wales, UK. Always a lover of the British culture, Beth very much enjoyed her new home and went on to find administrative assistant work at Cardiff University.
In 2008, Beth became a Grandmother for the first time to Alexandra Mae and then to Bradley James in 2011. Finally, she moved to Castle Rock, CO because of her love of the beauty and her desire to spend more time with her grandchildren. Shortly thereafter, in 2013, Christian Marc, her third grandchild was born. She doted on them and lovingly showered them with gifts and likewise they adored their “Grammy.”
After a beautiful holiday and Christmas season, Beth was welcomed into Jesus’ loving arms suddenly and unexpectedly on January 2, 2018. There she will peacefully await the arrival of the rest her beloved family.
Making friends wherever she went, Beth will certainly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
