Dean R. Weaver, 95, of Lone Tree, CO, formerly of Parker, CO, Took the Lord's Hand on January 29, 2019.

Loving Husband of 74 years to Ann Conklin Weaver.  Beloved Father of Kathy (John) Tedrick, of Aurora, CO,  Wes (Penny) Weaver of Littleton, CO, Mary Jane Shewfelt of Aurora, CO and Brenda (James) Brown of Broomfield, CO.  Grandfather of Chris Poppe (Lisa Sveland), of Parker, CO,  Jennifer Poppe (Robert Icenhauer-Ramirez) of Austin, TX, Mollie Weaver (Simon Madrigal) of Los Angeles CA; Dustin (Janeah) Weaver of Atlanta, GA, Heather Shewfelt of Aurora, CO; Robert (Stephanie) Shewfelt of Pueblo, CO; Curtis Shewfelt (Jenell Lazarony) of Craig, CO, Andrew Gross of Aurora, CO and Demi Brown, Broomfield, CO.  Great-Grandfather of Jordan Yandell, Havily Weaver, Breindel Weaver, Creed Weaver, Braden Poppe, Tyler Poppe, Carson Shewfelt, Camren Shewfelt.  Also survived by Sisters Mary Margaret Engels of Greeley, CO and Joyce Seibert of Ft. Collins, CO.  Dean was preceded in Death by his Parents - Russell Lee and Mary Alice (Coffey) Weaver and Sister - Zaline Bugg.

Dean was born on July 30, 1923 in Austin, Colorado.  He married Ann Conklin Weaver on August 18, 1944 in Durango, CO.  In 1949 he graduated from Denver University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.   He was President and Owner of Weaver Construction Company.

Dean was very active in the Parker community, belonging to several clubs and associations including the Rotary Club of Parker, Parker United Methodist Church, Roundup Riders of the Rockies, Parker Breakfast Club, Parker Historical Club and Associated General Contractors.  He loved horses, cows, history and heritage.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Parker United Methodist Church, 11805 S. Pine Drive in Parker. A Reception at the Church will follow the Service.  Final Resting Place will be at Cory Cemetery in Austin, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Dean's memory be made to Parker United Methodist Church or Denver Rescue Mission.
