Welcome to the memorial page for

Larry Raymond Refosco

December 20, 1943 ~ June 11, 2017 (age 73)

Larry Refosco, 73, of Parker, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017 with family at his side. Loving Husband of 45 years to wife Evelyn.  Known by many throughout the car community, horse racing fans and other various circles.  He touched all who met him with a good laugh and an open ear.  Auto aficionado who owned numerous beautiful street rods, spinner of tall tales and yet possessed a wealth of knowledge which he passed on to anyone lucky enough to listen.  A fan of BBQs, fishing & hunting, car shows, sports, boating and travel, he was always up for bonding with his kids and spending time with his wife and friends.  He was an airline employee and he and family traveled extensively thru out the US and abroad before he took an early retirement from Trans World Airlines. Favorite vacations included Lake Powell, Kauai and Grand Cayman Islands, street rod road trips thru the northwest and Canada with friends and hunting trips on horseback with his buddies.

He graduated from Canon MacMillan high school in Canonsburg, PA, class of 1962.  Then served four years in the US Navy, graduated from USS Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill and assigned to the USS Howard Gilmore, based out of Maryland, also stationed in Bermuda.

We would be remiss not to mention that Larry loved his pets, too many to mention but Buster was his loyal Palomino horse of 40+ years, Akira our cherished Siberian Husky and Boss his devoted companion Corgi were among his favorites.

Proud Father of Jerry Beeman and Cody Refosco of Parker, Colorado.  Grandpa to Bryce Beeman.
Brother of Rochelle Hindman of Lawrence, Pennsylvania.  Uncle to Donnie Hindman, Jr. and Randy Hindman.  He is survived by numerous other relatives and many special friends. Services will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
